What You’ll Do as A Member Services Officer I
- Provide exceptional service to members and potential members regarding deposit accounts and related financial products.
- Identify members’ needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Resolve member concerns independently within authority limits and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate member records through data entry and documentation.
- Balance daily transactions and maintain vault records.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to record retention.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support the credit union’s mission and values.
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support team operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred
- Cash handling and/or vault experience preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Team-focused with a collaborative mindset
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Passion for helping people and serving the community
Working Environment
- Comfortable, professional office setting
- Primarily seated with regular movement throughout the day
- Full-time position
