What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Services Sales Officer position at Bar Harbor Bankshares?
Responsibilities (Essential):
- Serves as the Bank’s business development representative (new and existing) for cash management, merchant and payroll services referrals across all business lines
- Ability to prepare professional client and/or prospect proposals as well as all documentation required to establish treasury services
- Provide internal and external customer service to support all treasury services products
- Administrative tasks and other duties as required
- Continuously educate Commercial Relationship Managers and Retail staff on new and existing treasury products and services
- Ability to work independently, yet exercise discretion when issues need to be elevated
- Ability to recommend operating efficiencies to improve bank profitability
- Enthusiastically support the Bank’s Guiding Principles and Brand Behaviors
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act; complete all required bank training courses on or before due dates
- Comprehend and adhere to federal banking regulations in accordance with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s policies and procedures
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- The flexibility to learn and keep current with changing procedures and regulations, varying job assignments, technological advances and new equipment.
