Tradeco Construction is seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent for ongoing projects in and around Utica, NY.
The construction superintendent will lead the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site, reporting directly to the Construction Manager.
Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the on-site construction team.
- Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
- Attending coordination and progress meetings.
- Project schedule review, short-term schedule production.
- Ensuring quality standards are met.
- Staging materials.
- Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
- Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs.
- Coordinating with Project Managers, Subcontractors and Clients.
Construction Superintendent Requirements:
- 3 years as a construction superintendent.
- Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
- Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment a plus
- Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Reliable transportation
- Prior HVAC and Elevator Renovation experience a plus
