What will you do? Make an impact!
Join Tradebe as a Wastewater Treatment Operator and play a key role in protecting the environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, are mechanically inclined, and are looking to build a career in industrial operations. You’ll support a cleaner world by ensuring wastewater is treated safely and efficiently.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Transfer wastewater from vehicles to storage tanks
- Move material between tanks and systems
- Operate clarifier and filter-press systems
- Collect and test samples using lab equipment
- Calibrate and inspect facility instruments
- Maintain accurate logs following OSHA requirements
- Comply with all safety and environmental procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Do you have what it takes?
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Comfortable working independently and outdoors in all weather
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to obtain a Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater Treatment license (we’ll help!)
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Forklift experience and pump knowledge are a plus
- A current state wastewater license is preferred but not required
