As a Data Entry Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining accurate records of hazardous waste shipments and ensuring compliance with DOT and RCRA regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in structured, process-driven environments and want to build valuable compliance and logistics experience.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Review and accurately input manifest paperwork into the company’s data management system
- Verify DOT descriptions, RCRA waste codes, and related information for compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies
- Upload and distribute completed manifest documents to appropriate departments
- Support the Receiving Department with general administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Do you have what it takes?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in large-scale data entry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable applying written procedures, SOPs, and regulatory documentation
- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations required; SAP experience a plus
