What will you do? Make an impact!
This employee is responsible to efficiently manage, schedule and dispatch Industrial Services PT/PL and local vacuum operations. Act as the in-house administrator for customer communications, day-to-day paper work management, scheduling the week and month ahead, planning and inter-company communications. This employee is the relay hub to administer, plan and direct industrial operations related to the UOM database. Will handle/manage bulk drum run for PL/PT customers.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensures PT/PL and local operations scheduling and dispatch are established in particular pre-set market areas to maximize efficiency in billable units and customer service requirements. As well as applicable AOC department objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring that assigned drivers obey all local, federal and state law. This includes all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Receives, researches, and answers or relays customer inquiries and request regarding accounts, products, rates, and services that have been performed.
- Follows up on customer inquiries and questions with research to confirm customer satisfaction and answers to questions. Ensure that maintenance service schedules for customers are met.
- Responsible for the oversight of UOM and updates the corporate office with all customer base information including pricing, contacts, container assignment, contract status, etc. as drivers turn in materials and verbal updates to the dispatcher, and verify the accuracy of all information/data that is turned into the corporate office to ensure computer tracking system information is correct.
- Works with the Industrial, Sales, and Plant Operations Managers to help provide retention with the customer base.
- Responsible for maintaining a daily service schedule; Responsible for establishing and maintaining a 2-month project forecast for IS.
- Responsible for the IS Phone / Communication Center.
- Provide purchasing service for the organization as needed.
- Provide a daily schedule for the Plant Operations of incoming and outgoing loads
- Must adhere to all state by state compliance procedures when dispatching or contracting equipment for a project and Performs other duties as assigned by the manager as may be necessary.
