Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing professional to join our fast growing trade services business. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, social media management, content creation, and performance marketing. This is a part-time position, which could ultimately lead to a full time position.
Duties
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email, social media, and search engines.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
- Create engaging content for blogs, social media platforms, and email newsletters that aligns with our brand voice.
- Utilize Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track campaign performance and generate reports on key metrics.
- Support social media marketing efforts by managing posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing engagement data.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Help manage WordPress sites by updating content and ensuring optimal site performance.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Assist with e-commerce marketing efforts, including product listings and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and performance marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO tools, Google Ads, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus; experience with SQL is desirable.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook Advertising) and social media management best practices.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences.
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools are preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
