About the company:
We remove wildlife–raccoons, skunks, possums, etc from client’s homes and perform exclusion repairs to keep the animals from returning.
Job Description:
Drive to appointments, do inspections, set traps for animals, do repairs to keep animals out, remove animals in traps, check for dead animals, spray pesticides and potentially handle live animals.
We arrive at customers' homes to assess the situations and design a solution on the spot. We also do general pest control services so spraying pesticides is also something that we need to do and have some knowledge about.
Skills required:
Sales is a large part of the position and we must be able to present options to a customer and explain benefits.
We do a lot of repairs and it's important that you have some knowledge about using power tools, hand tools and be willing to learn how to make simple repairs. We need to keep animals out and part of the job is to doing repairs before completing a project.
Time management: We also need to be able to manage the customer’s time and expectations with thoughtful and direct supportive communication.
Of course you must know how to drive with a good driving record and have a good understanding of the general Los Angeles area.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license with clean record
- Comfortable dealing with wildlife. We deal with birds, raccoons, skunks, possums, snakes and squirrels. Rats, Bats, Bees, bugs, roaches, lizards, gophers, moles, etc., etc. We have potential to deal with a lot of animals and/or bugs.
- Work Weekends
- 30-50 Hours
- Work overtime
- Have or be willing to obtain a Branch 2 General Pest Control License
- Pass a respirator fit test
- Pass a background test from the state to get your Branch 2 license.
- Manage yourself

- Must be able to communicate with clients.
- Safely applying pesticides and rodenticides using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Conducting pest control treatments in accordance with regulatory guidelines and safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of chemical applications and treatment areas
- Driving company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations
- Ensuring all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with environmental standards
- Handling pesticide
Helpful experience:
- Comfortable with power tools and general carpentry knowledge
- Nothing we do is extremely complicated and will show you how our repairs are done.
- Client facing.
Ultimately I’m looking for someone who’s honest, good at self-managing, is teachable and follows through. Shows up when they are expected to and can properly manage themselves.
Will be conducting interviews, and background checks. When accepted, initial training will be for two weeks.
Pay: $20.00 - $29.72 per hour
