Staff Accountant

The second is the mega-campus vertical development strategy called Fleet Data Centers.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Accountant that will be located at Tract Capital Headquarters and will report directly to the Director, Accounting Operations to perform and coordinate accounting duties within the organization. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis skills. An outstanding accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, and highly organized. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment with minimal day-to-day oversight.

Responsibilities

The Accountant will be a critical member of the Tract Accounting team and will be expected to bring their unique talents and experience to bear to advance Tract’s strategic objectives. The Accountant’s responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have experience and practical expertise in the following:

• Perform the daily A/P function including invoice uploading, workflow management, coding, and timely processing of payments to vendors.
• Demonstrate highest standards of personal and professional integrity, assist with creating and adhere to company’s accounting policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Work closely with FP&A to continually update forecasts / budgets incorporating the expense activity.
• Provide support for the external audit function during the quarterly review and year-end audit and tax processes.
• Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.
  
  

Baseline Requirements

Education, Professional Certification, and Licenses:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience.

Intermediate MS Excel data management skills.

Experience with cloud-based accounting systems.

Travel And Schedule

This position will require minimal travel.

Expected Salary Range

$80,000 plus Annual Bonus
