Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented People Operations & Payroll Analyst to help build a reliable, scalable foundation for the employee experience and the company’s people operations. This role ensures employees are paid accurately and supported through key moments in the employee lifecycle, while helping the organization meet its payroll, HR, immigration, and compliance obligations.

Working across HR, Finance, Legal, managers, employees, and external partners, the role brings structure, consistency, and continuous improvement to day-to-day People Operations. The ideal candidate combines sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail with a practical, proactive approach to improving how work gets done.

Job Responsibilities:

Payroll and People Ops Administration:

• Own end-to-end US payroll administration through Rippling, including inputs, timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, reconciliations, approvals, off-cycle payments, and issue resolution.
• Ensure accurate payroll treatment of benefits and timely resolution of payroll-impacting issues.
• Lead process automation and continuous improvement across payroll, HRIS, compliance, immigration, and global HR operations by identifying manual work, improving workflows, documenting requirements, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Oversee payroll tax compliance and year-end reporting in partnership with payroll providers and finance; ensuring accurate filings, effective controls, timely resolution of notices and audits, and seamless coordination across stakeholders.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity through data entry for employee changes and organizational updates, ensuring accurate and consistent execution.
• Manage leave of absence administration in compliance with applicable federal and state requirements, including eligibility, documentation, tracking, and employee communications.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  
  

HR Compliance and Policy Governance:

• Own the HR compliance calendar and reporting obligations across multiple states and jurisdictions, tracking requirements, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
• Proactively manage and improve the employee handbook and HR policy lifecycle by identifying gaps, drafting and updating policies, coordinating Legal reviews, maintaining version control and acknowledgments, and driving clear employee and manager communications.
  
  

Immigration and Global People Operations:

• Oversee international payroll and HR administration through Deel and other EOR platforms, including contracts, expenses, stipends, leave, employee data, and local compliance. Serve as primary contact for international employee payroll and HR inquiries.
• Coordinate international onboarding/offboarding via Deel, confirming contract accuracy, background checks, and local regulations.
• Monitor EOR service quality, resolve issues, and produce workforce, payroll, immigration, and compliance and generating reports as needed.
• Track sponsorship, renewals, amendments, transfers, case milestones, deadlines, documentation, and employee communications.
• Coordinate employment-based immigration and work authorization matters with employees, hiring managers, Legal, and external immigration counsel.
  
  

Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills:

Education & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's 's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Experience: 5 years of combined experience in HR Administration and payroll processing.
  
  

Technical / Functional Expertise:

• Required: Experience with US payroll and HRIS administration; Rippling experience preferred.
• Required: Experience with international EOR administration; Deel experience preferred.
• Required: Experience coordinating immigration or work authorization matters and maintaining HR policies or an employee handbook.
• Required: Ownership of Tier 1 HR inquiries utilizing an HR Service Delivery (HSD) platform.

Travel Requirement: Less than 5%

Tract Capital Employment:

• Competitive compensation ($95,000-$105,000 Discretionary Bonus).
