Summary
As a Project Estimator at Track and Field Installers, you will play a vital role in our project planning process. This position involves evaluating project specifications and preparing cost estimates. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional athletic facilities. This is an in office position that requires occasional travel to job sites.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares, implements, and negotiates a budget based on estimates.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Searching drawing databases, downloading and reviewing plans for quotable work, reviewing all addendums up to bid date, bidder conversations about inclusions and exclusions, uploading of all documents to buildertrend, take off with buildertrend take off software, gathering subcontractor quotes, and compiling all information in buildertrend proposals.
- Uploading of all estimates and documents to OneDrive
- Retrieving of copies of all payment and performance bonds per job
- Project analysis/review and comparison to bid calculations
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
