Requirements:
- Experience in construction estimating (government projects preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and materials
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CPM/PM tools preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction, or related field
- PMP is a plus
Role Overview:
Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and bids for construction projects, including take-offs, scope analysis, and coordination with subcontractors/vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bids
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and define scope of work
- Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors for pricing
- Evaluate subcontractor quotes and ensure estimate accuracy
- Track historical cost data for future estimates
- Recalculate estimates for changes/addendums
- Support planning of labor, materials, and equipment
Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
