Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking to hire full-time Warranty Administrator for our East Syracuse location. A successful candidate:
- Processes all truck chassis, engine, and parts warranties in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner to meet deadlines for submission set by the manufacturer.
- Understands and eventually has a working knowledge of the warranty guidelines, rules, and exceptions for each manufacturer to be able to assist the service departments.
- Accesses and operates various manufacturers’ computer systems for submission, input, tracking, and warranty manuals and guidelines.
- Maintains thorough, legible, and accurate files of all warranty activity in a system that is easily understood and accessible to the warranty manager that is set by the manufacturer’s guidelines and rules for claim documentation.
- Supports the service departments by obtaining any missing documentation that prohibits the claim from being processed.
- Performs other general office duties as assigned.
- Attends manufacturer’s training classes, seminars, informational meetings, and webinars. Travel may be required
Skills:
- Clear communicator
- Ability to work both independently, and with a team
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a service department office environment is preferred
- Experience with commercial industry in-house business systems and online claim submission programs is preferred
- Working knowledge of Heavy Duty Commercial Trucks and Diesel engines is preferred
