Product Support Specialist - Aggregate Equipment

Tracey Road Equipment is seeking to hire a full-time Product Support Specialist - Aggregate Equipment at our facility in Syracuse, NY.

A successful candidate will:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while seeking opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing knowledgeable advice on parts and aggregate equipment repair services.
• Provide follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s aggregate equipment and the corresponding parts and repairs.
• Actively promote and sell Tracey Aggregates parts and services.
• Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their equipment and offering suitable alternatives when necessary.
• Offer technical support to customers, helping them troubleshoot and resolve issues with their equipment.
• Identify opportunities to promote and sell the services offered by the service department.
• Inspect customer & rental equipment in the field for deficiencies, sell parts where applicable.
• Take oil samples on Tracey Aggregates assets at designated intervals.
• Take photos of equipment when at customer locations.
• Make note of repairs and collaborate internally to generate and provide parts estimates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements in aggregate equipment.
• Support the service and parts departments when not on the road and when time permits.
• Travel is required. Schedule and work hours vary.

Skills:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of aggregate equipment and parts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving history.
• Ability to read and comprehend diagnostic service information.
• Ability to gather date, compile information, and prepare routine paperwork.

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience in parts sales or service within the aggregate equipment or heavy machinery.
