Immediate need for a Regulatory Specialist to join the team! This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day global regulatory support, execution and advisement for the successful launch and lifecycle of compliant formulated consumer products (cosmetics and home fragrance). Key duties include: Documentation creation, submission and tracking, special projects related to emerging issues and key regulatory changes, and supporting regulatory team process improvements. Detail oriented Adaptable
Candidate would be working on the Regulatory team in the Product Integrity department. We as a Regulatory team are 15 people total. They will be completing Product Information Files, assisting with various projects (MoCRA implementation, EU Allergens, SB312 etc.) and helping with process improvements. A typical day would be spent attending (Virtual) meetings, reviewing artwork, creating Product Information Files (PIFS), and assisting with projects. someone who is a team-player, self-starter, has good interpersonal skills, is not afraid of asking questions. Product Compliance Management
Accountable for understanding and applying global regulations to ensure compliant products
Communicate product and labeling requirements to appropriate stakeholders
Assist in the development of product concepts and marketing claims
Submission and Reporting Management
Assist and oversee the design and maintenance of regulatory recordkeeping systems
Organize information, documentation and databases to ensure completeness and ease of use
Assist with data analysis and report development
Product Research and Evaluation
Perform research on regulatory related topics appropriate to areas of accountability
Provide recommendations and information to supervisor and regulatory teams
Continue to learn and apply regulations and begin to leverage experience in issue management
Emerging Issues Mgmt. / External Monitoring
Awareness and understanding of regulations, industry and technical issues
Responsible for understanding emerging technical issues and identifying impacts through functional support of sub-brand projects
Responsible for communicating developments and relevant information to regulatory and technical teams
External monitoring: Federal & State EPAs, FTC, CPSC, Federal Register, Canada Gazette, International emerging issues
SKILLS:
Strong Data Analytical Skills
Someone who has a background or education in regulatory and/or cosmetics
Bachelor’s degree, B.S./BA in related field.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Must be collaborative, motivated and adaptable.
Experience in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Proficient with MS Office – particulary Excel.
Candidates should be proficient with vLookups, creating formulas, etc.
Time Management skills.
