The mission of the Product Wear Test team is to conduct fit and comfort evaluations and analysis of products under real life conditions during the development cycle. The team supports lingerie and apparel categories. In this position, the Product Wear Test Analyst is primarily responsible for strategic execution of testing initiatives, analysis of test data and thoughtful presentation to stakeholders across the business.
The Product Wear Test Analyst will provide valuable insights and recommendations by leveraging information and feedback gathered through survey tools. The analyst must have the strategic, creative, and analytical skills needed to connect data to key performance insights that drive and influence product decisions.
Execution of Consumer Testing Program (60%)
Manage daily testing initiatives
Review requests for product tests and projects. Understand the objective of the request and ensure the testing process yields the necessary feedback required for decision-making.
Complete execution plan for each testing initiative by:
Connecting in with key stakeholders to ensure clarity around test goals and deliverables
Creating surveys and other documents based on those test goals
Assigning a relevant participant group for each test
Ensuring proper quantities and quality of all test products prior to distribution to testers
Execute testing initiatives by:
Distributing products to test panelists in order to meet set deadlines
Creating appropriate communications with test panelists for each activity
Consistently managing communications with test panelists for best results
Support wear test recruitment end-to-end
Analysis of Test Results (50%)
Prepare results documentation for presentation to broader audiences across the business. This includes assurance of accuracy in all statistical formulas, careful review and thoughtful analysis of data and proper formatting of documents.
Facilitate results recap meetings, presenting test findings and explanations to cross-functional teams.
Maintain relevant product benchmarking statistics and use appropriately in results reporting.
Provide Business Recommendations (10%)
Able to effectively translate analysis of product test data into articulate, persuasive, and actionable conclusions and recommendations for positive business impact.
Identify and raise awareness of risk to the business with a view of potential solutions.
Build relationships with cross-functional partners who support and inform the product lifecycle process.
Communicate in an effective, clear, and persuasive way at all levels within the organization.
SKILLS:
Leadership capabilities to supervise a team
Excel, verbal & written presentation skills, problem solver, survey building experience
Customer insights background, strong excel skills.
Must have ability to take learnings from projects & apply to new & different situations. Experience with full ownership and droving project results.
Bachelor’s degree required plus 4-6 years of experience.
Possess strong written/verbal communication skills and positive attitude
Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
Must possess excellent PC skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint a must
Experience in a survey building platform a plus, but not required (ex. Qualtrics, Survey Monkey)
Experience with product evaluation a plus with a high degree of analytical curiosity that leads to comprehensive data acquisition and analysis.
Degree in business analytics a plus
