What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Business Intelligence Analyst position at TRA'BIAN ENTERPRISES?
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Position Type: Contract
Position Term: 6-12 Months
The primary objective of this engagement is for the selected candidate to serve as one of the Health Business Analyst / Health Business Intelligence Analyst (HBA / HBIA ) that will be responsible for discovery and requirement sessions with various stakeholders along with analysis of data from disparate systems, including internal and external data. the Director for Public Health Data Modernization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with all levels of the Department.
Strong analytical skills with significant experience in data analysis and manipulation
Experience writing functional requirements.
Ability to communicate and present results with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to draft current and future workflows of data flows for presentations with various stakeholders.
Based on data analysis needs, works with various stakeholders to obtain inputs and feedback on final engagement outputs.
Experienced in documenting data and metric definitions and rules.
Experience maintaining a data catalogue is preferred.
Understating of relational databases and experience with transformations and data mappings.
Ability to interpret data from multiple data sources and develop findings and recommendations.
Experienced in consolidating internal and external data to explore patterns and improve outcomes.
Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse and Date Maturity Model preferred.
Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools, Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Review priority health systems to assess if there is a streamlined process to correct errors and adequate data quality measures.
Identify gaps in data required for analysis and interoperability with healthcare IT systems that provide data to the Department for each of the public health surveillance systems.
To improve transparency and trustworthiness, develop a centralized, digital approval process for dashboards and prepared datasets that are made available external to the program areas that ensure the data source, analysis methods, primary point of contact, date of last update, and frequency of updates are documented and readily available to the users of the data.
