- Equipment Operation: Operate various heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and dump trucks, to perform tasks such as digging, grading, loading, and hauling materials.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a safety-conscious culture by following all safety regulations, conducting pre- and post-trip equipment inspections, and ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment, including greasing, checking fluid levels, and making basic repairs, while also reporting major issues to supervisors.
- Site Management: Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members, using hand or audio signals, to position equipment and ensure efficient workflow.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move earth, rocks, gravel, and other construction materials at job sites.
- Technical Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical specifications to accurately position equipment and execute tasks.
