Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Designer specializing in Men's Apparel at TPJ and it's parent company Six Lincoln LLC., located in New York, NY. The Senior Designer will lead the creative and technical design process for men’s apparel collections, with a focus on denim and related products. Responsibilities include conceptualizing designs, overseeing fabric selection, evaluating trims, collaborating on fittings, and ensuring the alignment of designs with the brand’s vision. The role also involves staying up-to-date with fashion trends while maintaining a focus on the brand’s core aesthetic.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Fashion Design and a strong understanding of current and emerging menswear trends
- Hands-on experience with Textiles and Trims for designing high-quality apparel
- Proficiency in coordinating Fittings and ensuring precise garment construction
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee a collection from ideation to production
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and sales
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on men’s apparel preferred
