Nestled in the heart of Southwest Florida’s vibrant landscape, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach, under the proud operation and ownership of TPI Hospitality, offers not just a job but an opportunity for unparalleled personal and professional growth.
Margaritaville is looking for servers to join our restaurant operations on the property. Collaborate with our Executive Chef, Cooks, and Restaurant Managers to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive reputation at Southwest Florida’s newest resort.
Key Responsibilities include:
Customer Greeting:
- Warmly welcome customers as they arrive, creating a positive first impression.
Menu Knowledge:
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu items and ingredients to answer any customer questions accurately.
Order Management:
- Take food and beverage orders promptly and accurately, entering them into the ordering system efficiently.
Menu Recommendations:
- Offer menu item recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions, enhancing their dining experience.
Allergy Awareness:
- Communicate any food allergies or special dietary needs to the kitchen staff to ensure safe food preparation.
Order Fulfillment:
- Ensure all orders are filled quickly, accurately, and with high-quality food, meeting customer expectations.
Attentive Service:
- Provide attentive service to diners throughout their meal, such as refilling drinks and checking on their needs.
Issue Resolution:
- Promptly address any customer service issues that arise, escalating to management if necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
Cleaning Duties:
- Perform cleaning duties in various areas, including the service station, kitchen, and dining area to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
What you will bring:
- Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor.
- Exceptional organization and time management
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Great active listening skills
- Ability and willingness to collaborate.
- Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
- The capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in an outside, non-climate-controlled environment which includes heat, sun, cold, and rainy conditions.
- Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends.
- Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift to 25 pounds unassisted.
- Physically able to walk on sand, concrete, and pavers.
- Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
