Project Coordinator – Regulatory Affairs (Utility Industry)
Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support utility regulatory filings, compliance activities, and project administration. This role will coordinate day-to-day regulatory case activities, maintain documentation, track deadlines, perform data quality checks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of regulatory requirements.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Program Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong project administration and coordination experience.
- Experience tracking project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Strong documentation management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be located in or near the Jackson, MI area and able to work in a hybrid setting.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience in the Utility, Energy, Electric, Gas, or Power industry.
- Experience supporting regulatory filings, compliance reporting, audits, governance, or regulatory affairs.
- Familiarity with rate cases, utility compliance, or regulatory documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Knowledge of process improvement and workflow optimization.
- Experience performing quality reviews of financial, operational, or technical data.
