Position: Mechanical Engineer IV
Duration: 12 months contract
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Local to Houston, TX
Department: liquids side of business - oil and in facilities design as well (pump stations, meter runs, etc.)
liquid pump stations, overseeing detailed engineering of those facilities (hire 3rd party consultants and this person will oversee the 3rd parties and design work) - will do all project activities from initiation to closeout
pump station projects - piping layout design
Specific Accountabilities:
supporting liquids projects, there are a lot of them, initially at least 4-5 looking after at the same time.
$30-$40M budget sizes per project.
working with provider to ensure projects are staying on target
work with stakeholders - project management, construction, supply chain, plans and right of way, environmental
Required Qualifications
- PE nice to have
- Engineering degree must have - Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, etc.
- Bluebeam experience desirable
- working with pumps, specifying pumps, understanding liquids (small size 2000 Horsepower, large is 6000 horsepower)
- terminal design - experience with storage tanks
- LNG experience or liquid pump station background
