Position Overview
We are seeking a Property & Casualty Licensed Account Representative to support and service our existing commercial insurance clients. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, detail-oriented, and able to deliver excellent client service while managing policy changes, answering coverage questions, and identifying opportunities to round out accounts. Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial clients.
- Answer coverage questions, provide policy guidance, and deliver timely follow-up.
- Handle incoming calls and emails with accuracy, professionalism, and clarity.
Policy Servicing & Technical Support
- Process endorsements, certificates of insurance (COI), evidence of insurance, and routine service requests accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized client files and documentation in the Agency Management System (AMS).
- Review policies and request corrections or updates as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing submissions and quote comparisons for new and renewal business.
- Facilitate audits and provide basic guidance on commercial claims reporting.
Account Development & Retention
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities (e.g., Cyber, EPLI, Umbrella) to round out existing accounts.
- Assist producers and leadership with renewal preparation and proactive risk management communication.
- Support client retention through proactive problem-solving.
Team & Carrier Collaboration
- Work closely with agency leadership to ensure smooth workflows and a consistent client experience.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with commercial carriers and underwriters.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty License (Required).
- Experience in commercial insurance account servicing.
- Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) is a strong plus.
