Engineering Supervisor

Job Overview

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for daily supervision of the Engineering staff, quality service, guest satisfaction and safety. They supervise preventive maintenance and repairs, monitors life safety systems and utilities and assist in department administration in compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards and federal, state and local regulations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure engineering associates are equipped with necessary knowledge and skills to achieve job expectations. Evaluate staff job performance and their role in team success
• Prepare and maintain schedules, logs, and records and other documentation to ensure a smooth operation and minimize liabilities.
• Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased
• Prioritize service request to ensure guest satisfaction. Assign, track and monitor preventive maintenance and resolve repairs.
• Ensure work areas are in orderly and clean condition. Ensure staff is trained to use proper tools and equipment
• Examine, test and maintain life safety systems to protect guests, employees and assets.
• Attend department meetings when scheduled
  
  

What You Will Bring

• High school education plus schooling in building maintenance or related experience.
• Two ore more years of related experience
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
