Job Title: Dishwasher
Starting From: $19-$21/hour plus tips! (Depending on Experience)
Location: SUP Noodle Bar - Irvine
Address: Culver Dr, Irvine, CA 92604
Dishwasher Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
- Clean dish storage
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the appropriate party
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
- Notify the supervisor when small wares are getting low.
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary (with supervisor’s approval)
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor, occasionally restroom deep cleaning
- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Managers
Qualifications:
- Food Handler Card Training Offered with paid training hours if needed
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
