Job description:
- Greeting patients with a smile
- Process patient check-in and check-out according to procedure
- Scanning patient ID, Insurance Cards, & updating AOB’s
- Confirming patient demographics and updating if appropriate
- Collect co-pay, deductible or self-pay rates from patients
- Keep medical staff appraised if a patient is late for their appointment and processing patient according to policy
- Direct patient questions and/or complaints to the proper department
- Maintain efficient patient flow during the check-in and check-out process
- Schedule patient’s follow-up office visit and/or office procedure
- Ensure that proper authorization and/or valid referral is attached to the accurate appointment type being scheduled according to policy and procedure
- Maintaining an organized front desk and lobby area throughout the day
This is a full-time position and may require travel between clinics within the area.
