Job Purpose:
- The Quality Specialist at TOYOTETSU TEXAS, INC., is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's rigorous quality standards.
- This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality assessments, and implementing improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
· Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
· Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
· Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality management to continuously improve quality control processes.
· Support new product development by providing quality assurance input and conducting risk assessments.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including ISO and other quality management systems.
Qualifications:Required Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
· Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the manufacturing industry.
· Proven experience with quality management systems and methodologies such as ISO 9001 or similar standards.
· Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions in a manufacturing environment.
