Service Writer/Dispatcher

ToyotaLift Northeast is looking for a Service Writer / Dispatcher. This individual will be the main contact for the Field Service Technicians scheduling their service calls throughout the day. They will also be responsible for preparing service repair quotes to customers.

What You’ll Do

• Communicates daily service calls to field service technicians.
• Coordinates with our PM Contract Customers for the completion of planned maintenance in a timely manner.
• Coordinate daily delivery truck runs to our customers and other locations.
• Reviews quote requests from technicians.
• Works directly with parts and the technician to ensure the quote is correct.
• Presents quotes directly to customer and keeps branch manager updated on quoted job progress.
• Reviews service quote estimates and works closely with the branch manager and parts department to ensure service jobs are completed in a timely manner and invoiced correctly.
• Keeps an open communication with our customers and our sales representatives to better service our customer needs.
• Works closely with the service billing coordinators to complete all duties in the service office and the accounting department for the status of current and new customers.

What You’ll Need

• 1-2 years of dispatch experience
• High School Diploma or associate’s degree
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent organization skills
• Strong communication skills (written verbal)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
• Ability to stand for 3 hours
• Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
