- Generates business by soliciting clients over the phone, internet, in person or mail.
- Responds to guests’ inquiries over the phone or internet in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Explains fully product performance, application, benefits and offers test drives to all prospects.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections and negotiating price over the phone, internet or in person.
- Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations.
- Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a prospect development system.
- Writes complete sales orders, process paperwork, explains warranties, provisions and financing in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Submits paperwork to and obtains approval from finance sources on all finance deals in a timely manner.
- Communicates with Finance to ensure all stipulations for finalizing the paperwork are completed.
- Assists in all other areas of the Sales Department and performs other administrative duties, as needed.
- Maintains and achieves the sales and customer satisfaction objectives set by management.
- Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
- Maintains professional appearance.
