Position Summary

The Service Porter plays a vital role in supporting the service team by maintaining a clean and organized service area, assisting customers and technicians, and ensuring efficient vehicle turnover. This position requires a positive attitude, dependability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the service drive and direct them to service advisors.
• Safely move customer vehicles to designated parking or service areas.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles to customers after service completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, customer lounge, and service shop.
• Assist with vehicle check-in procedures and walk-around inspections.
• Support shuttle service or vehicle pick-up/drop-off as needed.
• Monitor and manage inventory of car wash and porter supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to read and understand job-related instructions in electronic or paper formats
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Good judgment and professionalism in all assigned tasks

Physical Abilities

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
