What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in UI and API automation testing and creating test frameworks
- Strong familiarity with tools like Appium, as well as cloud platforms such as Perfecto, Seetest, or Saucelabs
- Strong understanding of backend services and API testing methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java or Python for test automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation within the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of automotive systems or relevant domains is a plus
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with industry trends
- Develop and execute an automation planning and scripting strategy to ensure automation is carried out effectively and efficiently
- Design and develop reusable test frameworks for both UI and API testing with a focus on maintainability and long-term efficiency
- Manage integration of automated test scripts with test management tools for efficient reporting and tracking
- Analyze and solve complex problems while helping motivate team members to produce creative solutions
- Collaborate in the overall automation effort, influence priorities, assist team members, and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Set up and maintain pipelines for test execution to support CI/CD practices
- Support deployment and release activities to align automation with the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate in the creation of QA program estimates and automation timelines for planning and resource allocation
- Java – very strong understanding of core Java concepts
- Understanding of mobile application testing
- Strong understanding of JUnit / BDD / Selenium frameworks
