Job Overview
The Private Client Operations Intern will support the High Net Worth Private Client department by assisting with process improvement and data management initiatives. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows, clean and organize client data, and improve overall operational efficiency while supporting client engagement efforts.
Intern Job Responsibilities
This is a full-time position for the months of May - August. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Job Overview
The Private Client Operations Intern will support the High Net Worth Private Client department by assisting with process improvement and data management initiatives. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows, clean and organize client data, and improve overall operational efficiency while supporting client engagement efforts.
Intern Job Responsibilities
- Identify automation opportunities by extracting data from Nexsure and external sources into Excel, cleaning the data, and creating visual reports and dashboards.
- Design and implement a structured workflow to improve visibility of quote status and terms, ensuring information is consistent, easy to locate, and readily accessible for team members
- Develop structured workflows to support consistent follow‑ups and quoting processes.
- Use Excel to organize, validate, and prepare datasets.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI to support reporting and insights
- Create an automated and creative process for sending customer engagement messages and timely notifications.
- Document solutions, workflows, and best practices for ongoing use
- Support various projects within the High Net Worth Private Client department as needed.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Major, Risk Management Insurance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, formulas, macros, data validation)
- Working knowledge of or strong interest in Power BI and data visualization
- Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and recommend process improvements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of insurance, financial services, or client relationship management
- Interest in process automation and operational efficiency
- Hands-on experience improving operational processes within a High Net Worth Private Client insurance environment
- Real-world analytics skills and reporting experience.

- Base Salary: $20-$24 based on skills and experience
- Minimum experience: Entry-level candidate; current college junior or senior, or pursuing a master’s degree.
