Your role as an Associate Financial Advisor would be to attract develop, and retain clients as you build a book of business in partnership with Northwestern Mutual. You will provide guidance and solutions for the planning needs of individuals and businesses in the areas of retirement distribution planning, insurance services, estate planning, tax strategies, and investment management. You will strive to understand your clients' goals in order to develop comprehensive financial solutions that will help your clients reach financial success. Advisors are given the flexibility to build their own book of business while receiving support from our firm’s exceptional network of financial and sales specialists, training and educational programs, and mentoring opportunities.

As an Associate Financial Advisor, a typical day includes:
· Meeting with clients and prospective clients for planning
· Networking for new clients
· Managing back-office operations
· Building financial plans
· Making calls to prospective clients
· Managing & nurturing existing clientele
· Continuing education and development meetings
Income:
This is a performance based role compensated through insurance commissions, asset management fees, planning engagement fees, and performance bonuses. You will be eligible to receive $25,000 of start-up funding through your first year as you begin to build your book.
