The Role: We are seeking an energetic and attentive Traveling Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to Investigate, measure, and evaluate environmental and safety conditions. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior leaders across departments to develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain company policies and shape the strategic direction of EHS within the organization. You’ll bring forward-thinking ideas, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellence, all while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. What You’ll Be Doing: Oversee, develop, and perform EHS program audits. Coordinate scheduling of all required industrial hygiene testing and conduct Risk Assessments. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company’s long-term goals. Participate in the overall design, development, and installation of facilities, equipment, and processes. Prepare, analyze, and maintain safety reports, metrics and weak point analysis for associates and leadership. What We’re Looking For: 6 years of proven EHS experience with prior exposure to manufacturing environments. Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a sense of urgency. What Sets You Apart: A Masters degree in EHS, health sciences, industrial hygiene, industrial engineering, or a related field. OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Course Certificate, Certified Safety Professional, etc. Acute analytical, research, organization, problem solving and project management skills. Where and When You’ll Work: This role based out of our Greene, NY office, with an anticipation of 90% travel to support our teams in Greene, Binghamton/Kirkwood and Cortland/Marathon. Typically, a company vehicle is provided. This is subject to change as our team and locations grow. Upon hire, the selected individual will train in Greene with our EHS team. Compensation & Benefits Package: Salary: $78,800 - $101,000 per year. Compensation is based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available.
