Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc. may be required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas. Personal attire standards may apply.
TBMS- temperature controlled environment
Team Members are exposed to sharp metal objects that are heated during welding process. As such, Team Members are required to wear heat protective gloves and sleeves that are made from an XKS nylon material. The PPE is designed to cover all of arms and hands and can become hot during summer months.

- Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow all standard work procedures.
- Meet production requirements and complete all production sheets.
- Stop, call, & wait for all abnormal conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures and communicate issues with TL/GL.
- Perform required quality checks.
- Participate in a manufacturing system emphasizing teamwork, safety training and discipline.
- Utilize TPS techniques to standardize process/methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste and standardize the new process/methods.
- Maintain daily 5S in the work area and equipment.
- Work well with other team members.
- Understand and work by the TB Way philosophy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience

- Good math and communication skills
- Experience in precision measuring equipment
- Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime.
