TITLE: CLASS I SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER (PART TIME/ SEASONAL BEACH DISTRICT)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position and to understand and follow instructions from superiors.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- US Citizen
- Earned high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Pass a background investigation.
- Pass a psychological examination.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Traffic control.
- Enforcement of local ordinances and parking enforcement.
- Perform any and all other assignments at the discretion of the employee’s supervisor on an as needed basis.
