Township Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our busy, AAHA-accredited practice.
We are a small, close-knit team with strong, long-standing relationships with our patients and their families. We are looking for someone who brings not only solid technical skills, but also compassion, excellent communication, and a genuine love for the profession.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you will play a key role in both patient care and client communication.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years of veterinary nursing/assistant experience
- RVT license required for the right candidate
- Strong technical and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and client education abilities
- A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure
Technical Skills
- Anesthesia: inducing, monitoring, and recovery
- Dentistry, including full-mouth radiographs
- Surgical support and perioperative patient care
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Accurate drug calculations
- Proficiency in exam room workflow and patient handling
