Generator Service Technician
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Generator Maintenance & Service Technician to support our growing Generator Division. Previous generator experience is not required. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow established processes and direction.
Pay: $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience commission opportunities
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm
What You Will Be Doing:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on residential standby generators.
- Complete inspections according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Change oil, filters, spark plugs, batteries, and other maintenance-related components.
- Document maintenance findings accurately.
- Identify potential concerns and communicate recommendations to customers and management.

What We Are Looking For:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, propane, automotive, small engine repair, landscaping equipment repair, or related trades - Desired
- Basic understanding of engines and mechanical systems
- Experience working in customers' homes - Desired
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
