As a Dual Director of Sales, you will lead the sales effort in hotels room sales, small boardroom and be the driving force for business and leisure segment bookings. You will assist in developing marketing strategies and work with revenue management on a sales strategy to maximize revenue. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Market and sell the hotel and amenitiesCreate marketing plans, quarterly and annuallyHire / Train / Coach / Counsel / Terminate sales staffRepresent hotel at designated functionsParticipate in local chamber of commerce and visitors bureau eventsParticipate in local Lodging AssociationOrganize client eventsOperate department within RHW Budgetary guidelinesEnsure that sales staff has the supplies needed to sale the hotelDevelop and design the advertising for the hotelMeet with clients and companies on a regular basis to ensure account saturationMaintain a good working relationship with competitor hotelsMaintain all sales files in a orderly and usable mannerApprove all negation strategies before being submitted to GM for finalizationAvailable to work on call and accessible via cell phone/radio at all times unless otherwise excused.
