Discovery Capital is hiring a full time Front Desk Specialists for the TownePlace Suites by Marriott, one of Columbia’s top-rated hotels near the airport. This is your opportunity to join a professional hospitality team that takes pride in delivering top-tier guest experiences.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle phone and online reservations professionally and efficiently
- Provide information on room availability, rates, hotel amenities, and local attractions
- Register guests, verify payment methods, and update guest records
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready
- Process group bookings and assist VIP/event guests as needed
- Promote and upsell additional hotel services when appropriate
- Keep accurate logs of bookings, payments, and guest interactions
- Support other hotel operations as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Evening schedule; ability to work evenings from 3pm to 11pm
- 6 months to 1 year of front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable and punctual with great attention to detail
- Team player mindset and eagerness to learn
