What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant position at TownePlace Suites Marriott Hotel?
Hello! We are seeking a room attendant for our TownePlace Suites in Morristown managed by Gibson Hotel Management.
What The Job Looks Like:
As a room attendant at TPS Morristown, you'll interact with guests and team members on a daily basis while delivering southern hospitality in the Marriott fashion. Your job will include but is not limited to:
- Cleaning guestrooms that have checked out or that are staying over
- Deep cleaning guestrooms as assigned
- Maintaining pace of 30 minutes-per-room or less for standard checkouts, 15 for stayovers, 60 minutes for deep cleans
- Cleaning public areas as assigned
- Assisting laundry as assigned
- Maintaining a clean and tidy cart
- Attending Daily Hello Meetings

What the Job Takes:
Here are some of the things we look for when considering a candidate! Keep in mind, if you don't meet each requirement but you think you'd still make a great fit, go ahead and apply!
- Experience in hotel housekeeping (Marriott/Hilton/IHG experience preferred)
- Experience in commercial cleaning
Pay and Working Hours:
The starting wage for this position is $13.50/hr.
We are a 24/7, 365 days a year operation so we ask for open availability. We are happy to work with scheduling demands outside of work so long as they fit in with our scheduling needs.
