Hello! We are seeking an assistant housekeeping manager for our TownePlace Suites in Morristown managed by Gibson Hotel Management.
What The Job Looks Like:
As an assistant housekeeping manager at TPS Morristown, you'll lead team members and interact with guests on a daily basis while delivering southern hospitality in the Marriott fashion. Your job will include but is not limited to:
- Creating and delegating room boards to team members at the start of their shift
- Leading the Daily Hello meeting in the absence of the housekeeping manager
- Inspecting cleaned rooms to be turned clean in the property management system
- Cleaning guest rooms on the days when not scheduled for inspecting
- Oversee the cleaning of public areas and the productivity of laundry operations
- Recording monthly inventory of linen and towels
- Placing orders for hotel supplies
- Scheduling the housekeeping department
- Attending weekly manager meetings in the absence of the housekeeping manager
- Reporting directly to the housekeeping manager
- Reporting to the general manager
- Other duties as assigned by management

What the Job Takes:

- Experience in hotel housekeeping (mandatory)
- Experience in hotel hospitality (Marriott/Hilton/IHG experience preferred)
Pay and Working Hours:
The starting wage for this position is $15.50/hr.
We are a 24/7, 365 days a year operation so we ask for open availability. We are happy to work with scheduling demands outside of work so long as they fit in with our scheduling needs.
