Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and laundry facilities by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate various cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning tools to achieve optimal results.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms and public spaces to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, including responding to safety incidents or hazardous situations with professionalism.
• Adhere to hotel housekeeping management protocols for sanitation standards, heavy lifting safety (such as moving furniture or supplies), and custodial best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services with a strong understanding of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing chemical handling tasks with proper knowledge of chemical handling procedures.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members alike.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation such as vacuums and industrial cleaners; previous experience in hotel housekeeping management is a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff safety at all times.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
