The Details
- Position: Mobile/Travel X-Ray Technologist
- Setting: Nursing Homes
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Tome
- Compensation: $50 per hour (as well as travel expenses)
What You’ll Do
- Mobile Diagnostics: Drive your own vehicle. You'll be assigned your own state-of-the-art portable X-ray equipment to bring to various local facilities.
- Patient Care: Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays on geriatric patients, often requiring creative positioning and a gentle touch.
- Efficiency: Maintain a consistent schedule, ensuring images are transmitted promptly for radiologist review.
- Autonomy: Manage your day independently while staying connected to our dispatch and clinical support team.
What We’re Looking For
- Certification: Active ARRT (R) certification and NY State Drivers License.
- Experience: Previous experience in X-ray is required; mobile or geriatric experience is a huge plus.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital imaging software and mobile EMR systems.
- The "Soft Skills": Patience, empathy, and a "problem-solver" mindset. Working with patients requires a unique level of care and communication.
