Position Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, report changes in condition to the nursing team.
- Assist with feeding, position changes, and turning of residents as required.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care plans are being followed.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in New York State.
- 1 Year Experience
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
