Executive Assistant to the First Selectman
The Town of Woodbury is accepting applications for the position of Executive Assistant to the First Selectman. This position provides executive administrative support to the First Selectman with a high level of confidentiality. Assures matters are processed in a timely manner, maintaining calendars and issuing reminders of pending matters and meetings, preparing and producing correspondence, agendas and reports, initiating communications with involved parties and staff to facilitate pending matter resolution. Provides assistance and guidance to the public.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, business administration or related field preferred. Four years of related experience in an executive support role, supporting top level executives or elected officials preferred. Must be willing to receive additional training and obtain certifications as required to perform the functions of the job. This is a 35-40 hour per week non-union position. Annual salary range is $63,735 to $65,647 based on experience.
