Part-Time Spanish Teacher (Contractual) Montessori Primary Classroom
We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Spanish Teacher to join our Montessori Primary program for the remainder of the 20252026 academic year. This is a part-time, contractual position beginning immediately.
Schedule:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- 9:00 AM 11:00 AM
- 10-month position (aligned with the academic calendar)
Position Overview:
The Spanish Teacher will lead developmentally appropriate language experiences for young children in a Montessori primary classroom (ages 36). The ideal candidate will bring creativity, consistency, and a love of working with children while fostering early language development through songs, movement, conversation, and hands-on activities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with Montessori principles
- Introduce vocabulary and cultural elements in meaningful, age-appropriate ways
- Maintain a calm, respectful classroom presence
- Work independently while collaborating with classroom staff as needed
- Establish positive relationships with students and staff
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children (ages 36) required
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with Montessori philosophy is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Reliable, organized, and consistent
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $25
