Capital Project Manager Description The Capital Project Manager assists
in coordinating a comprehensive program of design, renovation and
construction of municipal buildings; performs technical and
administrative work in connection with managing, facilitating, and
coordinates all aspects of the building process for new design,
construction and renovation projects, in cooperation with user agencies
and the Building and Other Facilities Planning and Construction
Committee (?PCC?). Acts in the place of the Director in their absence
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Obtain and maintain a
Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) certification
with the inclusion of Design and Construction contracting. Candidates
must be able to obtain and maintain OSHA-10 certification for
construction. Professional registration as an Architect or Professional
Engineer In Massachusetts Is Preferred. Experience With Massachusetts
School Building Authority (MSBA) projects is preferred. Registered in
LEED, CHIPS or PHIUS is preferred. Valid driver\'s license. Education
and Experience: Duties require seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant
professional experience in building design, construction, construction
management or a related field. Bachelor?s degree in architecture ,
engineering, and/or technical degree in a directly related field.
Special Requirements: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain
OSHA-10 certification for construction. Professional registration as an
Architect or Professional Engineer in Massachusetts is preferred.

Proficiency in computer skills to include various types of software,
Google Suite And Spreadsheet Capabilities Are Required. Organizational
