The Town of Stratford is seeking experienced candidates to fill the position of Part-Time SECC Office Assistant (GRANT)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This part-time position is responsible for providing telephone, program enrollment and fee management support for the South End Community Center office. Hours are typically Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm – 7:00pm and Fridays from 3pm – 6pm.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position reports to the South End Community Center, Program Coordinator.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
· Direct callers to the appropriate individual and community resource, take messages or place callers into the voice mail system.
· Coordinate ordering program supplies and equipment as needed.
· Maintain SECC files, Care for Kids and ProCare database.
· Handle program enrollment, tuition/fees and program rosters for all SECC fee-based programs (i. e. After School, Summer Camp)
· Perform related work as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Good language skills (oral and written) and mathematical skills.
· Good ability with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook programs, and able to gain proficiency with ProCare child care software, and able to use office equipment such as fax, photocopier, and scanner.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Demonstrates cultural humility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree a plus.
SALARY:
$18/Hour
