Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator with the completion of 6 school grades and minimum of one year experience in the operation of heavy construction equipment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy equipment, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. This position is for Four 10 hour work days to include an alternating weekend shift
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and yard waste processing equipment at the Town Transfer Station.
- Loading garbage, construction waste, metal, yard waste equipment and vehicles with Compost/Woodchip mulch.
- Working together as a team to keep the transfer station moving smoothly.
- Light mechanical work including change out hydraulic lines and daily maintenence of equipment.
- CDL Class A Preferred
